132: The Turning Point
The biggest turning point in my senior school life (albeit quite early, I might say), was Year 11 camp at Vision Valley. Of course, I will make another post that is much longer and details everything that happened on the 3 days, but I feel this is a little more important.
This camp was placed at a quite inconvenient time for me (I have a ton of homework I have to get back to, and momentum always takes time for me to regain [although not true for physics – in a closed system, momentum is always conserved]), but I think it was quite the early turning point for me. I learned things that would not have been possible to learn while I was on camp and I was able to bond even further with my squad of friends at school (those late nights, girls!). I know the first two lectures/sessions were supposed to be motivating, but I did notice that some people fell asleep 🙂
I feel a lot more motivated to help out my friends in times of need and to help myself become a better person. That’s all I have to say. It was a rewarding experience, and I’ll be writing a longer post about it! Catch you later, love.
